Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF), an international architecture practice headquartered in New York City, is seeking an entry level Junior Video Editor-Producer in New York to assist and support the creation of videos, from production to post-production, with the aim of telling the stories of the projects, process, and people of KPF.  This is a new position at KPF, created to support the growing need for video in the design studio as well as in Marketing.

We seek an individual with an appreciation for architecture, planning, and how the built environment affects our daily lives.  This position will report directly to the Global Video Producer in the Marketing Department and involves direct interaction and communication with architectural teams and periodic interaction with senior KPF staff. 

Primary Responsibilities

• Shooting in-house interviews (on a C100/C300), including running sound
• Editing in Adobe Premiere Pro, and incorporating feedback into iterations on the way to a final cut
• Overseeing all aspects of post-production to completion, including sound design and music, sound mixing, color grading, and graphic and visual effects; basic animation of motion graphics
• Organization of footage, including receiving and processing, and uploading to our archive system
• Collaborating with Marketing team to research and develop new video ideas shooting videography at various in-house events

Qualifications

• Recent graduates, or 1-2 years relevant experience, who in lieu of any of the above skills, bring an enthusiasm to learn.
