About the Opportunity

Mitchell Giurgola is seeking a graphic designer to join its mid-sized, innovative, award-winning architectural firm. Working under the direction of the Director of Marketing, the graphic designer will collaborate on a wide range of project types and will be responsible for producing compelling visualizations to support client presentations, marketing, publications, social media, and award submissions. The candidate will also work closely with project teams, contributing to the development of important deliverables including reports and presentation materials. The ideal candidate is passionate about marketing and brand building with the goal of enhancing the visibility of the firm and its leadership.

Role and Responsibilities Include:

• Work closely with the marketing team and design staff on RFP responses and client interviews/presentations
• Develop graphics for speaking engagements, digital and print brochures, social media, the firm’s website, e-newsletter campaigns, and award submissions
• Develop graphic design content in support of projects throughout various stages of design
• Coordinate photography and videography efforts
• Contribute to and maintain graphic standard manuals and templates for office-wide use
• Research latest industry trends regarding architectural visualizations

Qualifications Include:

• Excellent typography and layout skills with solid knowledge of graphic design principles and methods
• Keen attention to detail with an eye for curation and presentation of architectural projects through well-crafted text and images
• Ability to meet project goals under tight deadlines
• In-depth fluency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects required
• Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, V-Ray, Enscape a plus
• Ability to understand and interpret architectural drawings and concepts
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Graphic Design, or related field preferred
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in graphic design, ideally in the AEC industry
• Experience with social media and email marketing preferred (Wordpress and Mailchimp)
