Lovers Unite is looking for an Architectural Closer to join our team. Yes, it’s an unusual title, we admit. A successful Closer is someone who above all enjoys seeing their work and ideas IRL. Would you agree with the phrase: "details are the DNA of design"? If so, you're probably a Closer. In a small design-focused office such as ours, every team member must be prepared to jump into projects in any given role, as project needs dictate. But an abiding interest in producing details and drawing sets for permit and construction is a must for this position.

Our team is collaborative and growing, offering an opportunity for motivated individuals to grow with us into a Project Architect role. This position would be ideal for someone who is licensed or pursuing licensure.

Our firm's focus is on highly customized residential (ground-up and remodels) and chef-driven restaurant projects. We are located in Glassell Park  - near the new Taylor Yard Pedestrian Bridge. Excellent tacos and micheladas across the street.

  • Minimum 4 years experience, with Interior Design or Architecture education and background.

  • Time management and organizational skills, with the ability to pull together deliverables to meet a deadline.  We track our time hourly for every client.

  • Project experience should include drawing set submittals, including but not limited to: specifications, technical production, and basic code knowledge.  FF&E Design and documentation are a plus!

  • Primary responsibilities will include leading the drawing and documentation of projects during the design as well as management of the scope, schedule, and budget during construction; this will include coordination with clients as well as contractors and fabricators.

  • The ideal candidate must have good communication skills, be hands-on and open-minded, and have a desire to work collaboratively with multiple project stakeholders to solve problems.

  • Proficient in Autocad (Revit is a Plus), Photoshop, Sketchup.
