Studio PCH, Inc. is seeking a talented and experienced Intermediate Architectural Designer / Job Captain to join our dynamic team. Our work is collaborative and creative, with a focus on hospitality projects that challenge and inspire. The ideal candidate will have exceptional design, drafting, and modeling skills, combined with a keen understanding of interior architecture within the hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative design solutions across multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Create detailed construction documentation for commercial hospitality projects, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all phases.

  • Lead the drafting, detailing, and preparation of presentation materials for clients and internal reviews.

  • Take ownership of Revit models, performing quality control (QA/QC) to maintain a high level of precision and attention to detail.

  • Collaborate with a diverse team of designers and architects on a range of interior and architectural projects, managing tasks from Schematic Design through to Construction Administration.

  • Efficiently manage and steer the team through Revit tasks, coordinating with Project Managers to meet project milestones and deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design.

  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience across all design in hospitality and/or residential projects with interior architecture scope 

  • Highly proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, with experience in BIM360. Minimum two years of revit experience.

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, technical detailing, and documentation processes.

  • Experience with Adobe Design Suite and other industry-standard tools.

  • Ability to incrementally take lead of junior team members and provide project management support, ensuring smooth coordination throughout the design process.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills, with a strong ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Project coordination experience, with a focus on hospitality design.

  • Organizational skills, with an eye for detail and design excellence.

  • Ability to thrive in collaborative environments, solve complex problems, and maintain a proactive approach to design challenges.

Location Requirement:

  • Proximity to Los Angeles (Venice) is required. 

  • We are additionally looking for internationally-trained designer consultants with the above experience and QA/QC knowledge for a large hospitality project in the middle east if the above matches your skill set, but you are not looking for a full time position based in Los Angeles.
