Deborah Berke Partners is an architecture and interior design practice that for over thirty years has made true-to-place projects around the country and the world. Over time, we have built a wide range of experience in projects for colleges and universities, cultural institutions, private residences, boutique hotels, office and multifamily developments, and buildings for mission-driven clients. The firm provides a full range of services, from master planning to architecture and interior design.

Deborah Berke Partners is seeking a Senior Professional candidate with extensive experience in design development and documentation in various project typologies. The ideal candidate has strong software skills, is tech savvy and willing to act as a liaison with the office’s external IT consultants on tech-related issues. 

Requirements:

  • Eight to thirteen years of design or technical and project management experience at an architecture firm
  • Professional degree in architecture; licensure preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Affinity, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Demonstrated excellence in an area of design or project delivery
  • Interest in IT/Technology and creating/implementing BIM technical standards a plus
  • Excellent graphic, communication, and organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, thrives in a collaborative environment and understands the importance of supporting design team members
  • Is active in the formulation and execution of corporate strategy
  • Provides leadership in office activities
  • Ability to plan time and resources necessary to balance tight project deadlines
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and hands-on
  • Pro-active, self-disciplined, and confident in a fast-paced working environment
  • Possess all legal permits and visas required to work in the U.S.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
