Jett Projects is currently seeking a Designer/Project Manager with 1-3 years of experience in interior design/architecture or related creative industries to work on new and existing projects and to help build out our team. Founded in 2020, and already covered in publications such as Architectural Digest and New York Magazine, we are growing quickly and this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is a self-starter and looking to gain confidence and experience in a fresh design studio. 

Jett Projects is an interior direction studio focused on creating highly-charged atmospheric spaces for our clients, from the macro scale to the micro.


  • Design various elements of interior spaces through sketching, AutoCAD computer drafting, and 3D modeling/rendering.
  • Transform a sketch from Creative Director and transform it into reality via drawings and 3d model studies.
  • Assist in creation of material palette, pulling of reference imagery, and FF&E sourcing.
  • Create design presentations for client meetings.
  • Perform field measurements of existing site conditions and translate into AutoCAD. 
  • Create pricing/bid set drawings and construction drawings in AutoCAD.   
  • Assist in specification sourcing and specification package creation. 
  • Daily follow ups on project progress by emailing/calling various project vendors, fabricators, contractors, and clients.
  • Ensure FF&E procurement from initial selection and approval, through purchase to delivery and installation 
  • Maintain project schedule and update budget as necessary. 


  • Must have an intermediate understanding of AutoCAD.
  • Must know 3D computer rendering software. Rhino/VRAY is preferred.   
  • Intermediate understanding of Excel, InDesign, and Photoshop. 
  • Experience with custom furniture design and documentation of various details. 
  • Experience in relaying information to contractors and fabricators is preferred. 
  • Possesses a driven, go-getter personality with excellent time management skills and an ability to deliver under tight deadlines. 
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Has a keen interest in other creative outlets such as art, fashion, film, nightlife, etc. Has a general knowledge about what is going on in the creative NYC world around them outside of interior design. 


  • Bachelors degree Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, or Furniture Design.
  • 1-3 years working experience in a high-end design studio. Experience in an interior design studio is preferred but not mandatory.  


  • Full-time hours: Monday-Friday 10:00 – 6:00pm.
  • The studio is currently located in NoMad. This position requires the applicant to be in studio at least 4 days per week. 
  • There is an option to work from home (or remotely) one day per week. This can be any day of your choosing. 
  • This job will require frequent travel to job sites and vendors/fabricators in NYC. 
  • Monthly overnight and domestic travel to out-of-state job sites may also be required, to locations such as the Berkshires, upstate NY, and the West Coast.
