The Little Free Library is mainly composed of two identical doors and several gypsum boards (drywalls). In order to hide the existence of the shelves, they are designed to be relatively thin compared to the whole form. The inner side boards are angled in a way that they create forced perspective deluding the depth of the shelves.
As people grab more books from it, the shelves become more open allowing the view beyond them. Through this type of experience, I want to encourage people not to be hesitant to open a book and read by giving them a chance to acknowledge how pleasant it is to find the unexpected.
