bump mapping

does anyone know what the technique is to create a bump map on paper (like they had on the goosebumps books: http://www.bc-enschede.nl/wenglish/grassroots/youthliterature/3g0304/evers_meijer/goosebumps.gif)

like i want a cover that has bumps on it

what program? what kind of printer?

post links or tell me ur secrets

ummm... use photoshop .... or contact your local press?

theyre printed then pressed.

find a printing shop with diecutting facilities, they can load a bump map into the diecut press

should be the same price as comissioning your own diecut plate
