I found this video today of a five axis CNC mill cutting a car prototype. For anyone experienced with CNC fabrication, it's a pretty damn cool thing to watch. It's all fairly normal stuff for us used to 3-axis operation until you get to the end to watch it do the final pass and articulate in all five axes at once. More or less totally mindblowing.

holy crap that's badass.
not bad..... curious how much g-code was involved or if the program could just read a 3d form...
we have a typical 3 axis in the shop.....
