Even though I disagree with John Lydon's views in his old age, I play this one periodically. I saw this one performed live in Pasadena probably 35 + years ago. They came on stage about a couple of hours late and did a few songs including this song and the concert was shot down by the police due to the unruly audience and the band.
Hello (Hello) Hello (Hello, hello) Hello Ha ha ha ha
You never listened to a word that I said You only seen me from the clothes that I wear Or did the interest go so much deeper? It must have been to the color of my hair
The public image
What you wanted was never made clear Behind the image was ignorance and fear You hide behind his public machine You still follow same old scheme

My wife is always looking for new electronic music and she liked this as well.
Book sales have slowed down, not helped by the fact that our publisher--Taunton Press--sold to a new publisher, AIM, at the beginning of the year, and now they have sold the books division to Abrams, so we don't really know what's going on. It was fun to be an Amazon best seller for 18 months straight!
After arriving at a selectively bashed driver-side mirror of my car on the street where I live, and later being blocked by an unpermitted driver in the parking lot of my workplace giving me the finger for gently beeping to let me go, this music brightened up my day. Thank you.
Bill Evans reissued box set Live at the Village Vanguard in NYC spinning on my rig. Been waiting for this one for a long time. Every piece of vinyl is a different night in I think a 5 day gig of playing Excellent!
Oh thanks. It's pretty special and sounds just extraordinary. I love it. I'm not so sure about my neighbors. LOL. If you want to understand the Hudson River painters - live here. The light is magic every day. Best regards
New Kim Deal song that I thought was Jane's Addiction but toned down and cool:
I've probably mentioned that a friend of mine used to date her and we've had dinner and played Foosball together. One of the cooler things I've done. (For those who don't know, she was a key member of Pixies and founder of The Breeders, '90s bands.)
This is neat. A buddy of mine turned me to Nigerian funk band Akwassa a while back after finding a bootleg LP of In The Groove. I'll add this one on the list.
So good. I've seen him live a couple times - they put on a pretty great show. His story is super interesting too.

I flew halfway across the country last week to see him in concert, only to find out he was ill and cancelled at the last minute. I'm hoping he returns soon, I'd really like to see him live
What music are you listening to?
达吾列提·哈勒克演奏的冬不拉曲 Daulet Halek: Dombra Solo
Hope for the future!
New Blue Sun, anyone? I dig it!
I like it also but I have to be in a mood for this kind of music. An interesting musical journey for him though.

I love how introspective this version is, someone wishing for better.

Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force .
A great and fun tune! I like these that have hard driving drums trying to break the skins on the tomtoms! Vicious !
Starless kind of a day.

That is just what I need to do one more hour in front of my computer on a beautiful Friday afternoon.
Outstanding!! This tune does get time to move faster! How is your book sales doing?

That's terrible; I'm glad music helped!

Thee Sacred Souls. Going to see them live in October!
Nice Donna, kind of a Marvin Gay groove.
I saw Joe a couple of weeks ago.

Beautiful song and video.
I recently saw this song tagged as the source of a famous Missy Elliott sample--it's pretty catchy:
Fast forward to 2:20 for the part that's sampled.

I just got tickets to see Brittany Howard and Michael Kiwanuka in Chicago in October. It will be magical!

WG is six degrees from almost everyone.
LOL
I stole this from someone else, but Pixies w/Deal > The Breeders > Pixies w/o Deal. This new song is great!

this song to his credit, Peter Sinfield, RIP
Cat's foot iron claw
Neuro-surgeons scream for more
At paranoia's poison door.
Twenty first century schizoid man.
Blood rack barbed wire
Politicians funeral pyre
Innocents raped with napalm fire
Twenty first century schizoid man.
Death seed blind man's greed
Poets' starving children bleed
Nothing he's got he really needs
Twenty first century schizoid man.
