What's the story with this new magazine called 34? I've read issue 2 and just bought issue 3 (missed issue 1) but writing is great and stories are interesting throughout. Newest issue has a great feature on the biggest brands you've (probably) never heard of, very witty, very anti anti-globalist. just smart. also great pieces on 'Korea's happy towns' and an architecture story on Tel Aviv. I think it is trying to position itself between Vanity Fare (without the god-awful celebs) and Wallpaper (which has become a predictable bore). architecture, design, fashion--typical lifestyle fare but without the hype. best new magazine on the market this year, no doubt. anyone else reading this?
