dre molded the gangsta' era and also produced for egytian lover


i would like to mention j-dilla (r.i.p.) for the fact that he was one of the best hiph hop producer out there...peep his discograph and bio...worked with de la/tribe/common/etc...... also was a main part of UHMAH that produced tribe in the early days...



pete if you want some since quality beats

dre if you want to bump in your ride and hit the 3 wheel

I love Pete Rock + CL Smooth - They Reminisce Over You, but Dre has produced a lot more bob-yer-head music.

I would lump Pete in with Chubb Rock and Paperboy.

ali shaheed muhammad did tribe's instinctive paths, low end theory (best album), midnight marauders, etc.

i'm gonna bump some low end theory right now...

cause i know j-dilla was part of uhmah that helped with tribe....not sure how much though....maybe dilla did beats and ali produced it...dont know for sure....

talib has been out for a minute though...back with blackstar (talib/mos def).....

lupe push/skate track is dope.... i still havent copped his cd though.....

talib vocals can sound the same after a while...... not sure if it's his tone or what.... maybe needs a liitle excitement in the vocals to diverse the tine a bit....


i think lupe is on pharrell label..... cool to see some skateboard heads in the game though........

have you listened to any other of lupe's tracks? I really suggest "dumb it down" youll get blown away by the lyrics. But so far, my all time favorite song by lupe is "hurts me soul" My only fear is that Lupe may turn commercial, I really hope he doesn't, but its inevitable.
