I'm bumping this, because though my better half is coming home on a plane today, the Rambler is not...he'll go pick it up next weekend. In the meantime, anyone with car-friendly advice in West Palm Beach, I'd love any inside scoop!
too bad that it broke down. does he have any idea what's wrong?
most anything from the mid-60s is a pretty basic car. shouldn't be too hard to find somebody who knows how to crack an old amc. hardest thing will probably be parts.
i'll ask my brother in law. how far is west palm from miami?

Try Car Talk's Mechanics Files for consumer reviews of hundreds of mechanics throughout the country.
