Hope everyone gets tons of acceptances this week.

isn't it spring break for many schools this week? does that affect admissions departments?

i know next week is for some of the schools down in fla. not sure about anywhere else, though.

Check out thegradcafe.com to see when notifications were received last year. There is not quite enough data from last year, but the site is gaining momentum and, a few people seem to be reporting architecture results from this year.
If you all post on this site we won't have to read through chit chat to catch up on the latest in admissions... and we'll be lending priceless information to future architecture applicants.
just a suggestion.

I think vacation is next week or the week after for most schools. It would be nice if they finished up the letters by then... hopefully I will have something extra to celebrate on St. Patty's Day - like some good acceptances! If not, I guess I will be drowning my sorrows that day.

but he said that he was really excited to offer me a spot in their program and wanted me to come down on the 31st. i think i'm going to go to the open house! UVA! i fucking love that school.

i always told myself that if i got into UVA i would go...however, i'm in a pretty serious relationship going on 4 years now, and i'm just not sure what to do.

on a side note...when are they going to announce the new rankings for NCAA men's bball? UNC #1 4/life.

when you guys are there for the open house, go swimming at blue hole, grab a beer (or three) at michael's bistro on the corner, eat a 2 am sandwich at littlejohn's (but expect a 30 minute line), and go out for tapas at mas on monticello road.

oh, and visit the a-school if you have time.

smith... congrats on UVA. sounds like you will have a week of giddiness. hopefully you can retain your previous allegiances (UNC?) because if you decide on UVA you are in for 2 years of athletic disappointment.. unless you enjoy a good tennis match or swim meet.

man, im starting to loath UVA ... oh well, guess i'll find out officially with the letter this week. Yeah, you might want to add to tennis ... they're also good at lacrosse ... and I'd imagine polo as well. get ready to tie your sweaters around your shoulders and drink Zima too.
