I'm curious to know about how many students leave M.Arch programs at different schools and what is the nature of their departure. Is it safe to say that each year all programs have a few who are too faint at heart to persevere?
Only 1 person out of my first-year class of about 45 people left and did not come back. All of the rest of us graduated together. There were a few more people added to our class, because they had taken leaves of absence the previous year. Our school had a limit of 1 academic year of leave allowed. If you left for longer than that and then wanted to return you had to reapply.

We had 2 transfer out after one semester and one take a leave of absence after 3 semesters. She's coming back.
