programming an architectural office?

hyperbolical paraboloid

looking to possibly make a career move to another firm--can anyone tell me about this type of architectural management job? involves programming the staff and allocating resources in a very creative office that does lots of competitions. any personal experiences? pitfalls to avoid? is this just too much stress or an impossible job, given the type of firm?

depending upon the internal politics, it sounds like a position that would get little credit if things go well, and be the scape-goat if things go wrong. in other words, you would need exceptional inter-personal skills and political skiils.
