My favorite christmas song is "Simply Having a Wonderful Christmastime" (I'm not sure what the title actually is) by Paul McCartney. Lots of shitty Christmas songs emply children's choirs, but few actually introduce them as part of the lyrics. I can't believe this shit was written by the same man responsible for "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band."

one good one (especially for not per corell, who likes the reverend) is the christmas album from the reverend horton heat. not nearly as annoying as most christmas music. includes willie nelson's 'pretty paper', the one about dad looking like santa, and plenty of raucous surf guitar licks.

Vince Guaraldi totally made the last four days bearable for me.
