i've used B20 for 18 months in a jetta. it rocks if you can find it close to you.

if you're thinking B100 and you're in a cold climate, think about a fuel tank heater to keep it viscous. [cold meaning whole winter is regularly below freezing]

i drove across australia last summer on biodeisel and straight vege oil.

we drove a twin tank Toyota Landcruiser. In one tank we had the biodeisel, in the other tank, the straight vege oil.

it was hard work heating and filtering the straight vege oil before we could use it, but well worth it. we got the vege oil for free from hotels along the way.

if you have the space at home it would be worth your while to make your own plant for processing biodeisel. it's really quite simple.
