If you want to increase your political awareness on the conflict diamond issue please do some more serious work (beyond listening to a silly rap song) and read Forbes/ Wash Post/ NYTimes/ UN General Assembly white papers…and many other better resources.

I just figured you didn’t like the song b/c you didn’t understand the lyrics. I find most ppl that Criticize rap music/artist simply don't know what rappers are saying in their lyrics. In Jay's verse particularly. The average music listener wouldn’t know that he was rapping about his on going feud with Dame Dash. The lyrics my be very insignificant but if you don’t understand the story behind it, there is no way you can appreciate his rhyme. I was never saying that Kanye should be next in line for a Nobel peace prize. Lastly must rappers be of some scholarly level in order to be political commentators? Was Bob Marley a scholar?
