Being on the construction end of the building process I am curious what technology the design teams would like us field hands to be more proficient in?
I would be happy if the gc's looked at the plans before asking questions more than anything. Other annoying trait is asking for take offs just because it's easier on bim.

MS Project, Procore, BIM, Bluebeam etc.?
Bluebeam Studio and Autodesk Construction Cloud would be at the top of my list.
I would like to see better use of CM software (Procore or Autodesk Construction Cloud).
I do find it helpful when GC's do their own BIM coordination to inform questions and submittals.

I find if I look hard enough answers are in the drawings, good drawings.
A cross reference of the sheet in question on
details is helpful for us
Oh, I will add one more thing.
I would like the GC to read the general conditions for the specs - especially regarding submittals.
My wishlist? Basic email. Start there. Learn to correctly attach pictures and docs and search history before sent shit my way.
How about Smart PM?
My kingdom for a contractor who can make a sketch in blubeam.

I'm a hand-sketch and phone camera guy, myself.
In plan view or elevation, you choose. Now, where is my kingdom?
