I thought it was a 2002 model year looking at the subject.....not a 29 year old rusting heap.

a friend of mine almost died in it. i hate it..retro topanga. don't buy it. plus the fuel system gets cloged all the time. it is clustrophobic inside. new cars are the best. if i get this new project i am gonna buy a toyota corolla that looks just like a white rental car and makes that bing sound when you open the door , similar to chime sound when pilot turns of the seat belt sign in flight and only available in new cars. +, the smell of new upholstry however poisonous it might be.. o lord want you buy me a car that chimes and smells like a new carpet and has a stereo in it..
..sad but true..

what, are you all like 15 years old or something? "claustrophobic?", are you nuts? the things like a big bubble inside, do you drive a school bus or something? I've never been in a car with more visibility.

Are you really comparing a toyota corolla! to one of the classic cars of all time?!!

im sorry cottonmouth, yes the comparision to a corolla might be a bit over the edge, but i guess the point is that the 2002's styling is really dated.

and the engine is also a piece of crap. it was an architects car before the 90's i guess.

Ahhh the 2002. I would get one pre-1973 though--they were much smaller and more euro. This one still looks great.

I actually like the BMW 2002. I have to say that $7000 is up there. You can get a much more comfortable car for $7000 maybe even make 1-1/2 yrs. worth of payments on a Prius.

i *heart* 2002s, but they have to be money pits at that age... i would live to have one as a project/toy someday.

coolest car I every saw a consultant drive was a structural engineer who had this goregous 1940's Jag convertible. He only drove it on weekends in the spring and summer. Very stylish.

My grandfather has a BMW 2002. It's a yellow convertible. Beautiful car. He's not an architect though...

BMW sucks.

For $5800 I could get a kick ass Acura and have $$ left to modify it to outperform a 2004 BMW
