christo and jeanne-claude are definately worth your time!
i had the opportunity to see tem speak a few years ago, and they were wonderful, inspiring artists to hear.

i shared a smoke break with jeanne-claude and we talked about hair color.

The school where I work in tokyo is taking a small group of students to see the gates and I also understand that they are having dinner with Christo. I think the principle of the school is some kind of 'special friend' - haha. Now while I would love to join them, I really like Christo's projects, the cost is waaaay to high for me.

I will have to make do with the pictures from Sean! thank goodness for the internet.

I heard Christo speak when I was a freshman in undergrad, but I don't remember anything he talked about. He wanted to wrap a river or something. Has anyone seen the comic where it's the Earth in a cloth sack and it says "The Last Temptation of Christo?" Silly.
