how much would it cost to live like mike brady?-six kids, housekeeper, big house in so cal, single paycheck, -175k/yr? not sure where this profession is headed, but it bewilders me how people are making it

Since her kids would cost much more than his kids,
That's okay because insurance made him rich.
Oh, people are making it. It's just not you. I don't mean that to be cheeky.
Our society is now built around creating insane wealth for a very small number of people. The highest tax bracket (for those making over $1 million a year) is not substantially higher than for those making $70,000 a year. Fifty years ago, the highest tax bracket was 90%.
Our values seem to be dictated by and created for the superwealthy. Most Americans are servants to this class. Much of the money you've produced over the last 10 years is probably paying for the yachts and summer homes of hedge fund managers, wall street investors, and CEOs.
