These warehouses used to receive canned goods that fed the city of Los Angeles, but had fallen into disuse. RIOS worked with Atlas Capitol to bring these beautiful but disused buildings back to relevance — establishing ROW DTLA as a new mixed-use destination for creative office, retail, and events. The graphic language interprets the current use of the buildings as just one more layer in its history, using traditional stencil techniques in a fresh contemporary typeface to direct users, punctuated by unique moments.
