Semester 6 involved developing a brief and applying that to the Bond University Campus. After an analysis of Bond University’s campus, it was clear that there was a large disconnect between the university and the wider community. The strong axis which runs through the campus come to abrupt ends, although there is plenty of opportunity for them to be activated and paths of life and excitement. As a way to improve the campus overall, it is important to bring life into the campus, and provide spaces for students, lecturers and the pubic community to gather, share ideas, work and feedback, so as to benefit all who are involved. During the day-time, the spaces act as classrooms for students, and during the night and holidays, the spaces can become a community hub for local artists and the community.
