Implementing the use of bio-mimicry, we designed a bio-skin facade which would act as our building centres facade and dictate what our research and science centre would focus on. The project involved coming up with a research and exhibition space at the Spit in the Gold Coast, as well as a space to house the scientists and artists who may come to visit.    At the Spit, our site was located along the main Jetty, jutting out into the sea. The specific location was on the beach, just before the waves high-tide.
