The unique design of this "Victorian Style" Structure was a goal of the Greater Ottawa Area Visitors and Information Center and the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce to reflect the strong history of Victorian Architecture in the area.
The building, built as part of a Department of Transportation TEA project, serves as a tourist information center for travelers as well as a meeting place for local groups. It has received many compliments from travelers who
have even been told by friends that it is a must see stop when they are in the area.
The building was completed in 2002.
