American Cut

American Cut, Revel’s 9,000 sf., 264-seat premium steakhouse in Atlantic City, offers stunning views from a grand space that features elements of streamlined, art-deco design and hues of blue and dark-stained millwork.

Upon entering, guests are greeted by a substantial eagle sculpture clasping an engraved cleaver in its beak. The bar and raw bar are located along the curving, glass wall of the oceanfront building. Dramatic, dark-stained millwork showcases the bar offerings while tempering sunlight from the windows and providing contrast to the glow of the glass-topped bar itself, which is finished with honey-toned wood rods.

Large-scale custom pendant lights hang above the lounge/dining area which is clad with gray stone walls and sits upon black and white marble flooring. It provides a transition space between the bar and the main dining room and reinforces the venue’s sophisticated palate with distinctive strapped seating and textured stone tabletops.

Leather-wrapped columns invite guests into the main dining room, where a 60-foot art-deco lighting installation casts a warm glow across the expansive space, bookended by the action of both the kitchen and the bar. A mix of booths, tufted leather banquettes, and loose tables with glossy wood and metal tops are arranged over the herringbone wood floor, occasionally framed by inset carpets. A custom wine display runs the entire length of the dining room, showcasing the extensive bottle selection available to guests. Custom antique brass pendants, floor lamps, and table lamps peppered throughout the space act as metallic highlights amidst masculine and edgy tones.

Guests who choose a table toward the back can enjoy their dining experience at the front row of the open kitchen, where the chef oversees every plate as flames from the finishing oven sparkle.

Private dining spaces feature framed black & white photo walls and include operable partitions that provide privacy for groups up to sixty people.
