The concept of integration was key to the design of this wellness center, which brings the model of "well care" to the Marina community. The new facility contains clinical health services and a medically-based fitness center, allowing patients to identify and manage their health risks in a single location. The program includes urgent care, an imaging center, lab facilities, licensed physical therapy, and cardiac rehabilitation suites. Fitness center employees communicate closely with a patient's doctors, allowing for a holistic approach to health and healing. This facility is LEED-NC Silver certified, and includes a 37,500 s.f. wellness center and 27,500 s.f. of medical office space.
