It seems as though every project I have for every class right now is coming down to crunch time so I have been consistently swamped.
Studio: Mid Crit on the 1st...will post images soon
Metaphysics: Research Paper; SILENCE AND LIGHT: Towards the Poetic Image in Exeter Library or VOLUME ZERO: Exeter Library as a Metaphysical Proposition
Graphic Design: Portfolio
Programming: Working on skyscraper research for an eventual skyscraper publication (group project)
OZ Journal: Sending out letters to potential contributors, designing a tshirt.
Here is the final theme statement for volume 27:
1proӢcess n.
1 a (1) : a natural phenomenon marked by gradual changes that lead toward a particular result (2) : a natural continuing activity or function b : a series of actions or operations conducing to an end; especially : a continuous operation or treatment especially in manufacture
Oz, volume 27, will investigate the process of discovering space.
Conceptions of space, before realization, originate in the mind. Existing between ones reason and ones intuition are a collection of memories, images, and data.
Process enables these conceptions to transcend materiality and define meaning, thus altering perceptions of space and their translation into the physical environment.
"... Meaning is found, discovered, and identified, rather than projected. The methodology of these explorations bypasses the notion of aesthetics: beauty resides in the very act of discovery, rather than in the externalized object. Aesthetics are transformed into material and embodied processes of making...the greatest liberty is born of the greatest rigor."
-Juhani Pallasmaa
not to mention being a TA for computing class and having to deal with silly questions at all hours of the day/night/morning.
I've attached some images of a few pages from my last project for Graphic Design.

brad, i really dig your graphics_ they have a simple yet emotional quality to them, like that of a good indie rock album cover_ how do you find the program there? i am applying to grad school this year, to get my masters in arch, but really want a place where i can get involved in another school, obtain some sort of dual major or a minor_ i'm finding out that some schools i would not have thought of before have some impressive work happening, maybe kansas state if one of them - what do you honestly think? thanks_
-ryan.
matr- i sent you an email through your profile...let me know if you do not get it and i will post the response here.
