This project started with study of artwork called ‘The Refusal of Time’ by William Kentridge.

William Kentridge consider the relativity of time as different time scale that can be measured by rhythm of sound or visual signals.

Tick-tocking of metronome, repetitive intervals of specific performence and/or various footage are new type of measurement of time, which provides visitors with a tool to construct their subject concept of time.

And this concept of time has applied to the project site, Dakar, Senegal.
