VILLA / MATERIALITY / LAYERING

This project has been built in 2017 commissioned by a client for his weekend villa, living currently in Seoul. The site faces large lake and there is a luxuriant forest behind it. The concept is to blur the edge between forest and lake by putting multi-layered spaces.

Entry level floor is the roof of the building. The third and second floor have a master bedroom, two guest rooms, and a workshop, giving them each lake view. Living, kitchen area is one the ground floor with a terrace, guest room and storage under the main stair outside.
