The aim of this studio was an urban intervention into a European city. This pavilion in Lille, France was designed to reconnect the inhabitants of the city with the existing canal. The waterfall pavilion and water channels provide a place for tourists and residents to gather and cool off during hot summer days. The pavilion features water channels which reflects the modernist architecture surrounding the park, and retaining walls which incorporate the brick from the existing canal wall.
