The Tata Theater was part of phase one of the program. It consists of a 1000-seat theater for Indian dance, music and drama in an intimate setting, The master plan in its subsequent phases calls for an additional 2000-seat concert hall, a 200-seat experimental theater, a school/library/museum and student residence hall, and an office tower over all encompassed on an 8 acre site of reclaimed land at the edge of the bay.
