Hudson Booksellers is a National Bookstore in a fraction of the footprint of a big box bookstore, yet has the selection that travelers demand.  Large flat book tables progress down the middle of the store, offering hundreds of much wanted titles. Above this is a recessed linear ceiling which showcases a blue, white and grey local author’s mural. The floor pattern of a light stained vs. a dark stained wood mimics the ceiling in this area.

A heavy gloss black painted crown molding creates the upscale look of the store, honey maple cabinets house reading material, floor to ceiling, low book tables and book gondolas are scattered throughout the remainder of the space.

The Kids Corner is announced thru a dropped soffitt area, colorful stained cabinets in green, red and yellow will attract the little ones. Children’s book titles as well as toys will be sold here. Tables will feature travel items kids will love, small scaled chairs will let them browse in comfort.

A cashwrap / display counter anchors the side wall, allowing good views to the customers, with plenty of counter space for purchases.
