The 'client' was a couple in their 60's who wanted to age in place.  The penthouse was designed for the couple, who entertain frequently, considering their interests in music, mid century modern furnishings, and art and decor of that period.  All finishes and furniture considered the needs of the aging body, taking special care to provide acoustic controls, low sheen and high-contrast surfaces, and comfortable seating.
