This project was a renovation of an 1800sf townhouse built in the 1840's. It was discovered that the structure was in dire need of structural remediation. The 2 wythe brick walls were repaired and repointed from the interior and steel bracing was installed to ensure the building's stability before cellar underpinning began. New windows were installed throughout along with a steel casement unit and a new front door assembly. 3 new runs of stairs were designed leading to a new roof bulkhead. A steel structure was erected to carry the weight of the new deck above the existing roof.
