Park Slope Townhouse

This project was renovation and restoration of a 7000sf single family town house in Park Slope, Brooklyn. The house required all new electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems. An existing addition was cut back to conform to code and was refaced to match the existing brick. The rear yard was excavated to create a terrace at the basement level and a steel, glass and blue stone deck was installed above allowing light to reach below and into the basement. An elevator addition was built, new weight and chain windows were installed and existing leaded glass steel casement windows were reproduced with and insulated glass assembly. All of the existing trim and plaster details were repaired and reproduced. Existing plumbing fixtures and fittings were also refurbished and reinstalled. Existing metal work was removed, restored and reconfigured at the front and rear yards.
