Las Rozas Village is a commercial retail center at the heart of a large new urbanization northwest of central Madrid. It serves both the surrounding community and the entire metropolitan region. It is one the very highest performing retail centers in the world as measured by sales per square meter.
The project’s design is inspired by the Grand Via in Madrid, known for its showy ornate buildings including the Marquesina Metro Portal and the Edificio de Telefónica.
As such, Las Rozas Village conveys the urban feel of a vibrant Spanish commercial street including the careful integration of landscape and outdoor dining as well as historically inspired ornamentation and sun-shading.
The project indisputably creates a distinctly Spanish shopping destination that is both simultaneously relaxed and assertive.
