Andrews Volunteer Fire Department
ANDREWS, TEXAS - $3.2 million dollars budget, and months of building and planning. the brand new volunteer fire department in Andrews, TX. The new fire house is more than double the size of the old building located in the heart of the city. Fire Marshall and City Manger wanted to house all their truck in one location. Building was constructed partly as pre-engineered steel building for trucks and conventional post and beam for administrative section.
The new fire station is 22,000 square feet and it was funded from excess sales tax for the City of Andrews Texas 2013.
City Manager, Glen Hackler said.
The city and firefighters are looking forward to a new building and a new chapter.

The new fire house will opened their doors for the first time to the public on December 14. 2013
