Jimmy Choo New York Madison Avenue

Madison Avenue is synonymous with the definition of fashion in New York. It’s where the fantasy trickles out into the grid. The new 310 sqm Jimmy Choo flagship located at 699 Madison Avenue  had a special challenge since it needed to be done in two stages, so the plan and façade were designed with flexibility for a future expansion in 2017.

Christian Lahoude Studio’s standards for the brand are used throughout to store with materials such as marble, brass, and glass with gold mesh, as well as luxurious silk and viscose rugs for this specific project. French paneling with gold detailing adds to the prestige of the environment.

The main entrance of the store leads towards a welcoming marble staircase, flanked by a central shelving unit that holds the precious items of the collection with a playful set of circular pendants. The staircase is surrounded by a play of mirrors and fabric with a campaign image marking the axis.

A circular display on the second floor gives a preview of the new collections while an open plan divided by a see-through shelving creates two areas without using any opaque barriers. The large windows on the second floor with views of Madison Avenue allow the upper shopping area to be bathed by sunlight. A VIP bridal room covered in rich materials completes the experience.
