Can Sculpture

As part of Second Harvest Food Bank’s annual holiday food drive, EBA volunteered to create a sculpture out of food products that would be donated to Second Harvest.  The sculpture was built and displayed at the Civic Center of the City of Mountain View.  Borrowing from classical architecture, we choose to re-create the Parthenon from Ancient Greece.  The sculpture was comprised of peanut butter jars, vienna sausage cans, Pepsi 12 packs, Swiss Miss packets, boxes of Jell-O, pasta, and 14 honey bears.  It also included a picture of the goddess Athena inside.  The sculpture was featured in several local newspapers including the San Jose Mercury News, San Francisco Chronicle, and The San Mateo County Times.
