Sunrise at Issaquah makes use of a very challenging site, to bring Sunrise’s unique model of care to Issaquah Washington.   The building length spans a drop of almost 35’ in grade, and uneven subsoil conditions led us to designing the building with two separate foundation systems, and required us to come up with unique solutions to make the site work.   Site concerns solved, we worked closely with Sunrise Senior Living to work within the difficult site and resulting irregular building shape to meet their specific design and programming needs in a manner that fits into the natural environment and architectural character of Issaquah.
