Commercial Center + Multi Modal System

Zhengzhou is one of industry center of China in the history. In order to create a business center with industry cultural and natural resources, a number of urban design strategies were used to organize and accommodate all waterfront activities and uses, therefrom, integrating the design into the urban context, and making a coherent place that features its own distinct identity. At the center of the district will be an urban plaza which connects commercial, administration and waterfront. Furthermore, a new waterfront promenade will link the urban plaza to the waterfront plaza and provide opportunities for sitting, strolling, jogging, bicycling and viewing the bay. The mixed-use district will feature high-rise buildings, historic neighborhoods, and open spaces, along with a comprehensive road and rail system. Simultaneously, a high-speed train will run between the district and Luoyang Province, enabling better access to the center of the city and reduce traffic congestion.
