Water Sensitive Urban Design + Best Management Practices

In this international competition project, taking care of every detail within the waterfront park is my first priority, in the initial phase of entire project. In accordance with local climate condition and project owner’s requirement towards stormwater management, I put forward the concept of Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) and Best Management Practices, and decided to intergrade water cycle management into entire planning process. By implementing strategies such as swale cultivation, bioretention device application, and wetland construction, considerable amount of stormwater will be collected and then recycled as clean water resource.
