Engine Company 277 and Ladder Company 112

Engine Company 277’s original, single-company firehouse, built in 1913, needed significant renovation. The FDNY asked STV to design a new double-width, double-occupancy facility that could house both Engine Company 277 and Ladder Company 112, which serves the Bushwick area of Brooklyn. Engine Company 277 was one of six projects to receive the 2004 Art Commission Award for Excellence in Design from the Art Commission of the City of New York.
