GA Washington Estate

This estate in rural Connecticut consisted of a “tear down” renovation of an existing house with large new additions. Balanced wings holding guest quarters on one side and garages to house an automobile collection create an elegant motor court. An indoor pool wing at one side of the house has a modern glass wall allowing the pool to be completely opened to an extensive terraced garden developed with new retaining walls. Both the family terrace, with its outdoor kitchen and dining area, as well as the more formal terraces off the living and dining rooms focus on the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains.
