Adirondack House

An extraordinary private peninsula on Lake George becomes the vacation setting for a busy New York family. A faded turn-of-the-century house in stone and shingles was re-planned and expanded as the center of the family compound. Arts & Crafts design motifs, oak woodwork, and local design influences were all woven into the refurbishing. State-of-the art geo-thermal HVAC and advanced civil engineering address environmental concerns, while gentle reshaping of the protected landscape enhances numerous paths and outdoor areas. A guest house, boat house, and other buildings are seamlessly woven into a winding access road.
