The brief was to design an addition to an existing residence to take advantage of the views of the valley below.  The client wanted to enlarge the existing kitchen and create a wine cellar and bathroom at the basement level.  There were many design opportunities that presented themselves with this project;considering the existing residence is an original design and the client has an eye for good design.
