The scope of this project started as a design resolution for their 7th Floor screening room and bar. Upon the success of the design proposal, MTV added a complete overhaul of the 4th floor cafeteria.  The program for the cafeteria had a very particular requirement. In addition to its traditional use as a place to grab a bite to eat, MTV needed this space to double as a performance stage.

I project managed this job with GKV Architects. I had 2 junior staff members and the interiors dept. at my disposal to realize this project as envisioned. It was completed on time. I worked closely with MTV materials dept and their in-house LEHR construction team. The document production and construction administration for this project was one of the most professional experiences any architect can ever hope for. I am very proud of this job as it was a test in working 2 projects almost simultaneously - something I had not been challenged with in my career. The ribbon cutting party was great.

I was given a fantastic end of the year bonus and a new project for Perseus Realty in Washington D.C. (14W)
